Create Your Indoor Garden Family

Updated: Jun 21, 2019

Weather you live in a little cute apartment or a big beautiful house, indoor plants are always calling for their room. Ever since we purchased our new drawer/dresser from West Elm (and I just notices it is on sale!), I started putting my small plants on it and playing around with them. That being said, drawer/dressers are the perfect space to gather your little plant family together as they grow faster and healthier together. Here are some tips on how to place plants together in a small space:

  • Start with putting the tall plants on the back space as they can create a beautiful background.

  • Place the wide growing plants in the front so they have more space for their leaves.

  • Leave an inch on each side to give growing space to the plants.

  • Use similar color or same size plant pots to create harmony in the space.

Some of my plants on the drawer dresser have grown so fast and big that I had to replace them with small plants. But you can always take a picture of them once you complete the design and update it in 6 months. You will be surprised to see how much they have grown.

These plants have been the active members of my home garden family.
