My first trip to Asia with my back then boyfriend in March 2017 was the biggest highlight of that year. It was a life changing trip as David was thinking of some plans. We stayed in many beautiful islands. Starting in Phuket,then Ko Phi Phi Don, Ko Lanta, Ko Samui, and Koh Tao. He asked me to marry him when we were one week into our trip and while laying on the beach watching the magnificent sunset in Ko Lanta island.
Because we were together almost all the time during the trip, David did not have some time for himself and get a symbolic ring from the market. So he proposed without the ring. Later on our trip when we were in Bangkok market and looking for a wing, I saw a beautiful golf ring with a turquoise stone in the middle. It resembled my grandmother's ring and I loved it right away.
We stayed in 7 places in two weeks. We loved to explore and move from place to place, talk to the people and learn about the culture.

As this was my first trip to Asia, I was surprised how packing my backpack was just enough for two weeks. We packed mostly easy dry light and thin clothes and washed them almost every night. Though I wore David's shorts a few times while mine were still drying.
A must visit island in Ko Phi Phi
We went on a ten island tour in Ko Phi Phi and oh boy! It was dreamy... I have not yet seen any clear and soft sanded beach in my life. Bamboo island; I call "a piece of heaven on earth".
